‘Dimbim Speciality Cakes’ was set up in Aberdeen in 2007 alongside working as a laboratory assistant with the NHS but I later decided to focus fully on cakes as it gave me the opportunity to have a better work life balance and spend more time with my family.
Fast forward to 2018, after acquiring advanced skills in cake decorating over the years, I decided to purely focus on wedding cakes and larger celebration cakes so I could give the much needed special attention to my clients’ cake needs.
My cake making journey started over 2 decades ago with the intention of making a business out of my passion for baking.
As a graduate of Chemistry (BSc.) and Biotechnology (MSc), my science background has influenced me in formulating and perfecting a wide range of unique flavours, some of which can be made as vegan or gluten free.
