Ordering Your Wedding Cake

Are you are looking for a wedding cake that will exceed your expectations in terms of beauty, style and elegance?

Do you wish to work with a wedding cake designer that will give you a positive and memorable experience from your very first contact until after your cake has been enjoyed by your family and guests?
If you have answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then I am the cake designer for you.
STEP 1:
get in touch
Once your date and venue have been booked, please get in touch to check my availability for your date.
A time frame of 18 to 24 months is highly recommended especially if you’re getting married the summer or autumn. I only take on 2 cakes per week and usually get fully booked quickly particularly in busy months.
If I have availability for your date, you can get a no-obligation quote for your desired style of cake. You can also get an idea of price and the size of cake you might need from my wedding cake brochure.
STEP 2:
secure your date
Don’t worry, you don’t need to be sure of your cake style at this stage. If you are sure I can provide you with an initial quote. If you’re not sure of your design, I’ll be delighted to book in a 20 minute “no obligation” initial Zoom consultation so that I can better understand your wedding cake needs.
After this, you can secure your wedding date in my diary with a booking fee of £150. (This will be deducted from the final cost of your cake). You can relax knowing that it’s an important item ticked off your to do list.
IMPORTANT
Please note, making an enquiry is not equivalent to making a booking, only the payment of your booking fee will secure your date.
STEP 3:
consultation & wedding cake design:
After booking, around 6 months before your wedding date, I will contact you to arrange a consultation. This can be in person or over Zoom, depending on your preference. You will receive a taster box of 6 delicious flavours to taste in the comfort of your home to enable you decide on your wedding cake flavours.
Please note, for couples ordering a semi-naked /buttercream finished cake you will only be offered a Zoom consultation.
During the consultation, I will create a bespoke wedding cake design where I will consider all the elements you want on your cake, and I will ensure that the design we create fits your overall wedding theme and that it complements your wedding perfectly.
You will then receive a sketch of the final design and an updated price. The booking fee will be deducted from this.
STEP 4:
final details
Around 8 weeks before your wedding date, I will get in touch to confirm the final details and contact any other suppliers e.g. your venue and/or wedding coordinator.
Your final balance will be due 6 weeks before your wedding date.
1 to 2 weeks before your wedding, I will liaise with your:
- Venue to coordinate the delivery and set up of your cake and share a cake cutting and cake care guide.
- Florist to coordinate arrival times if I am using fresh flowers to decorate your cake.
- Venue stylist to ensure proper coordination of colours and theme and positioning of the cake.
STEP 5:
the big day
Your wedding cake will be delivered and beautifully set up at the agreed time. You will have absolutely nothing to worry about but to simply relax and enjoy every moment with your family and friends.
When it is time, all you need do is cut your gorgeous cake and enjoy the delicious flavours.
